Tender margin protection

Built for Civils.
Built for Tendering.

Catch the costly details before they become your cost.

CivilEstimate is designed to identify missing information, hidden assumptions and overlooked allowances before a tender is submitted — helping contractors build more complete, transparent and commercially defensible prices.

Protect your tender margin.

The challenge

Civil estimating shouldn't depend on guesswork.

Tendering can involve incomplete information, changing supplier costs, uncertain production rates, tight deadlines and dozens of commercial assumptions.

Generic estimating tools often provide a number.

CivilEstimate is being built to show how that number was reached.

What we're building

A structured estimating platform for the civil-engineering industry.

CivilEstimate is designed to make pricing logic visible from the first question to the final tender rate.

01

Interpret BOQs and tender information

Understand the work being priced and break it into meaningful estimating components.

02

Identify missing information

Ask structured questions rather than quietly making assumptions.

03

Build transparent rates

Show the labour, plant, materials, production and commercial allowances behind the tender price.

04

Apply contractor-specific information

Reflect how an individual contractor actually operates, rather than relying on generic averages.

05

Highlight risk

Make assumptions, uncertainties and potential commercial exposure visible before tender submission.

06

Create an audit trail

Let an estimator understand, question and defend how a price was produced.

Built for civil engineering

Grounded in the work civils contractors actually price.

Early Contractor Pilot

Help us test CivilEstimate against real tenders.

We're looking for Irish civils contractors, estimators and quantity surveyors to take part in early validation.

This is not a sales demonstration. We want to find out where the system is right, where it is wrong and what experienced contractors believe it needs to do better.
01

You provide a genuine tender

A historic tender is perfectly suitable. You provide the BOQ and the information available when it was originally priced.

02

CivilEstimate prices it independently

Where possible, we do not see your final tender price beforehand.

03

We compare the estimates

We compare the overall price, individual rates and major assumptions.

04

We investigate the differences

We identify why the estimates differ rather than simply measuring whether two totals are close.

05

You give us your assessment

A short review with an experienced contractor or estimator helps determine what should be improved.

Your involvement is deliberately kept small

Send the tender informationWe do the estimating workShort comparison afterwards
Pilot participants will receive an independent tender-pricing comparison, a concise variance and missing-information report and priority early access to CivilEstimate.

Why not just use general AI?

A price is only useful if it can be understood, questioned and defended.

AI can already assist with construction estimating. CivilEstimate is being developed to add the contractor-specific and commercial context that general AI does not automatically have.

Pilot interest

Help us test CivilEstimate.

We're inviting a limited number of Irish civils contractors and experienced estimators to participate in early validation.
